Our History
Welfare Trust was established in 1990 (registered in 2000) as a community-based organization to improve education, health, and social welfare in the underdeveloped Gilgit-Baltistan region.
Before the 1990s, female education was almost nonexistent in the region, but Welfare Trust took a pioneering step in promoting and establishing schools, leading to significant improvements in literacy rates.
Over the years, we have expanded our facilities, curriculum, and teaching methodologies to meet the evolving needs of modern education while staying true to our founding principles.
Today, we continue to uphold our founding principles while embracing innovation in education and social development, preparing our students and community members to become leaders of tomorrow.
